On August 14–15, the CFA Society Minnesota hosted the 7th annual Intellisight investor conference in Minneapolis. Intellisight is the largest open-access (non-broker based) investor conference in the country where institutional investors meet with company leadership teams.
The first day of the conference focused on professional education sessions in the areas of ESG impact investing, municipal bonds, and the digital future (cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and distributed ledger).
Day two featured presentations from over forty local, national, and global companies representing publicly traded entities. “Every year we look forward to attending the Intellisight conference and the opportunity to have direct conversations with the leaders of so many great companies,” said Portfolio Manager Steve Landberg. “The hard work put in by the CFA Society is always evident in the overall quality of the conference.”
Conference keynote speakers included R.T. Rybak, CEO of The Minneapolis Foundation and former mayor of Minneapolis, and Jeremy Siegel, Professor of Finance at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
